so, um, yeah. it's the new year and all of that. spent the day in south beach/miami beach. sunny and beautiful. didn't think i'd be laying on the beach in the sun on new year's day, but i was. craziness. one more day and then we go home. good. i'm looking forward to it. i think there's like, a law&order marathon on a&e. i'll have to go check it out more thoroughly on the upstairs television. man, i love that show. tonight for dinner i had some cottage cheese with pineapple, but see, we had a really big lunch. i want to go home and start writing letters and start asking for money for honduras and get things going. i have such high hopes for next semester. i want to start working on the hotline, too. i need to get in three observations before class starts. i don't think it'll be too hard. i'm really excited about seeing lyn and melissa and angie in the near future. i miss those chicks. and i miss my fishes, though they'll be dead most likely and i'll have to get new ones. but i'll love them just as much. hilary gets back from utah on the 7th. she leaves otomorrow, which is lousy planning on her part, but at least we'll get to hang out for a week or so. and jenni's got a big part in next semester's opera, so i'm looking forward to that. what else? i don't know. that zen garden. yeah, i'm looking forward to being all zen-like...
