ok, i'm not going to say france sucks. oh wait, i am. thank god for english keyboard configuration on windows though. french keyboards are retarded. summary of the past few days. alicante is beautiful. moved on when it started raining. barcelona was incredible. the weather was amazing. the street performers were creeptacular. all of them were the mime-standing in one place really still kind. that shit scares me. all the architecture in barcelona was wonderful. took the train to cerbere and got into france and realized that i no longer hear spanish as a foreign language anymore, probably because i speak it. french, on the other hand, is definitely a foreign language. got to montpellier because i couldn't get to marseilles at a decent hour. all the books say the marseilles train station isn't the safest place to hang out after dark. so montpellier. the train hugged the mediterranean coast for the longest time and the view was gorgeous...and when there wasn't coastline there were mountains and they were snowcapped and lovely and postcard perfect...there's a guy with a dog at the next computer. weird. youth hostel's closed so i'm staying at hotel du commerce right down the street from the station. whatever. i guess i don't really want to pay 25 bucks for that mediocre room but what can you do. montpellier wasn't even IN my let's go europe so it's not like i had a whole lot of choices. anyway. just sleeping there and catching an early train to marseilles to meet hil at the airport. yay. excited.

hey. i miss all you spanish folks. i miss spain. it's going to be even weirder than this going home, huh? i think my hour here is maybe up. i'm going to bed.
